This is our full collection of traditional Miao jewellery.

These pieces are worn during festivals and wedding ceremonies.

Now counting alsmost 8 million in China, the Miao people lived in central China during ancient times. In Laos, Vietnam and Thailand are groups with common roots to the Miao, but they call themselves Hmong or Meo among other names.

Young Miao girls start to learn embroidery and weaving at the age of 6, fabricating many pieces as they grow up and when their collection is complete, they are ready and well-prepared for marriage.

The Miao are a proud and friendly people and it's a feast to see them wear their full festival attire.

For many years we have been working with the leading silversmith family in South China, visiting their mountain village, staying in the wooden family home and taking part in one of their festive ceremonies.

Each piece in our collection is hand crafted out of silver-plated alcapa. Each piece comes with a metal stand for display or you can frame them or simply hang them to decorate a wall.
